OEM Group’s AMS – GSE manufactures aircraft access boarding stairs to suit several specific aircraft as well as a set of adjustable stairs. Our custom fabrication team can manufacture and engineer boarding stairs and adjustable stairs to meet your aircraft requirements. The stairs are built from heavy-duty high-grade aluminium and heavy-duty galvanised steel, which makes them less impervious against corrosion and the elements. This minimises downtime for repair or maintenance.
AMS – GSE stairs are designed and engineered with a wide footprint with additional stabilising bars running to the centre of the longer stairs. This ensures stability even in high wind conditions and no bounce on the stairs themselves. Additional fittings are available to extend the width of the stairs at the top to suit variations in aircraft meaning one set of stairs will suit more than one aircraft. Fitted with anti-slip high visibility coatings to the leading edge of our stairs ensures they are both visible and safe in all conditions at all times of the day or night. The aircraft are further protected by multiple bump pads that are optimally placed specifically for each set of stairs to help minimise potential damage caused by mishaps.
